I will try and bring you fresh ideas every week! Any new ideas, suggestions, or photos, please post on the Guestbook and I will post them on the site! Wow... I have received so many ideas, tips, and suggestions from all of you. Thanks!!!!! I will save all the information you guys send me and add it to the site as they pertain to the seasons. Don't forget to keep sending me your great ideas! Creative Project - Spring Toile There are several items great for using toile. For example, you can take an old piece of wood, spray glue on toile, add a picture or drawing (you can even print one from your computer), and add a little edging around the picture using trim cord, ribbon, etc.. You can get pretty creative with this project, glueing feathers, shells, or any other small decorative accessory to the plaque. Finish by attaching a hanging bracket on the back and voila, instant art. You can also use this method for creating dividing screens, book covers, picture frames, and containers. You can cater your toile to seasons, occasions, colors, or patterns. Household tips - Dirt Free Deck Time to clean that dingy grimey deck! It's easier and cheaper than you thought. A little household bealch can take care of it. For an overall clean, use a mix with 1 part bleach and 3 parts water. For leaf stains, use 1 part beach, one part water. For algae stains, use 3 parts belach and 1 part water. Be careful that your pets are not around to drink the run-off! Organized Solutions - Centralized Cleaning Store cleaning supplies in a carry-all caddy. The caddy is ideal for wire shelves and under the sink because it prevents bottles from tipping over. You won't have to dig around the laundry room or under the sink anymore and you can carry everything with you! eeping all your cleaning supplies in one general location could also help remind you of what hasn't been cleaned in a while. You may see the silver polish and remember that you haven't touched it in years. Plant Exchange - Grow Your Collection The plant exchange is actually working well. Damian and Bonnie, thanks loads. If you would like to add new plants to your collection, just start one you already have and contact me. I will put you in touch with another eager reader ready to exchange plants! Coming soon...
